Introducing the Metis Business Development Bounty Program

With our Public Testnet launch coming this month and Mainnet launch in October, Team Metis is hard at work developing our tech and onboarding new partners to build on our Ethereum Layer 2 Rollup. We are committed to assembling a large, diverse group of strategic blockchain and non-blockchain partners from the worlds of DeFi, NFTs, DAOs, Gaming, Launchpads, Infrastructure, and more.

We’ve made big strides in the past few months, thanks to the success of the Metis Ecosystem Development Program (EDP). The Metis EDP gives established blockchain companies, blockchain startups, and even non-blockchain projects three major benefits:

• All the technological advantages that come with the Metis Layer 2 Rollup, including 1-second transactions that cost just a few cents, cheap, native data storage, and more.
• The marketing muscle offered by Metis’ strong presence across multiple social media channels and within the blockchain community.
• Numerous funding opportunities, from an initial Kickoff Grant of $10,000 USD in $METIS tokens to builder mining opportunities to revenue generated every time a transaction happens on our Layer 2 to larger funding possibilities via our venture capital partners.

That said, it’s a big world out there, and even pounding the pavement full time, we can’t possibly scout every single quality project that stands to benefit from what we have to offer. That’s why today we’re introducing a new venture: The Metis Business Development Bounty Program!

The program works like this: Any non-Metis employee who arranges an introduction that leads to a project integrating its smart contract(s) on the Metis Layer 2 platform qualifies for $METIS token rewards. (Note that we specify “introduction”; merely suggesting a project to us does not qualify.)

The rewards will be given out as follows:

• Any introduction of a project on the Top 50 list on CoinMarketCap that results in said project integrating its smart contract(s) onto Metis Layer 2 earns a reward of $4000 USD in $METIS tokens (both market cap of qualified project and price of $METIS tokens as it pertains to rewards will be counted at 4 pm UTC on the day that smart contract integration takes place).
• Any introduction of a project ranked 51–100 on CoinMarketCap that results in said project integrating its smart contract(s) onto Metis Layer 2 earns a reward of $2000 USD in $METIS tokens (both market cap of qualified project and price of $METIS tokens as it pertains to rewards will be counted at 4 pm UTC on the day that smart contract integration takes place).
• Any introduction of a project ranked 101–200 on CoinMarketCap that results in said project integrating its smart contract(s) onto Metis Layer 2 earns a reward of $1000 USD in $METIS tokens (both market cap of qualified project and price of $METIS tokens as it pertains to rewards will be counted at 4 pm UTC on the day that smart contract integration takes place).
• Any introduction of a project ranked 201–500 on CoinMarketCap that results in said project integrating its smart contract(s) onto Metis Layer 2 earns a reward of $500 USD in $METIS tokens (both market cap of qualified project and price of $METIS tokens as it pertains to rewards will be counted at 4 pm UTC on the day that smart contract integration takes place).
• Any introduction of any other project (blockchain-related or otherwise) that results in said project integrating its smart contract(s) onto Metis Layer 2 earns a reward of $200 USD in $METIS tokens (price of $METIS tokens as it pertains to rewards will be counted at 4 pm UTC on the day that smart contract integration takes place).
